Very nice and comfortable apartment - highly recommended despite its subpar location
Pros: Very friendly and helpful host. The apartment is very big, with a large living room, two decent size bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large balcony. It was really comfortable stay, especially compared to other properties we stayed in in the DR. Oasis de Paz consists of several apartments. We stayed on the first floor, what had the advantage of having its own parking slot behind a gate. It is important, because there is not much space for parking on this dead end street.
Cons: Information on Booking.com that they speak English is not true. The biggest disadvantage is location. It is located in an ugly neighborhood, on a dead end street that has no lighting, but has many potholes. There are many roosters on adjacent properties and they start crowing at 3 am. If you have trouble sleeping in such conditions, stay away from this apartment. On Saturday there was some kind of a party nearby and they played loud music until 2 am. I don't know if it was a one time event or if it repeats each Saturday. It is difficult to find it, with the location provided by Booking.com directing you to the wrong extremely narrow street. We had to ask locals where it is it - fortunately we met a man, who knew exactly where it is. This is definitely something to improve - you'd expect to get a message from the host with clear instructions how to get there, when it is so difficult. The apartment is really dark, with many windows opening to narrow passages between buildings or a garage. You have to turn on lights during the day. However, despite all of these disadvantages, we loved this apartment and we would definitely return.

Pros: Una casa hermosa. Limpia y cómoda. Las camas y las sábanas estaban impecables. Muy grande para poder pasar tiempo en la casa, ya que nos llovió bastante. Bien equipada.
Cons: Quizás le falta un microondas y un licuadora.

EXCELENTE LUGAR PARA DESCANSAR.
Pros: MUY BIEN UBICADO, CERQUITA DEL CENTRO DE LA CIUDAD. EL LUGAR EXTRAORDINARIAMENTE LIMPIO Y ORDENADO, LAS SABANAS TENIAN UN OLOR DELICIOSO Y LAS CAMAS PERMITIERON UN DESCANSO MUY REPARADOR. EL LUGAR ES BASTANTE AMPLIO, INCLUSO PARA QUEDARSE POR VARIOS DIAS.
Cons: LE AGREGARIA UNA TV EN LA SALA PARA CUANDO QUIERAS DESCANSAR EN EL APARTAMENTO SIN SALIR, YA QUE SOLO HAY UNA EN LA HABITACION PRINCIPAL.

Jarabacoa City!
Pros: Fue perfecto para los planes que tenia de pasar la noche en un lugar espacioso y en el centro del pueblo para que durante el dia pudiera disfrutar de lo que ofrece Jarabacoa . Pude invitar a una pareja de amigos, hacer una cena y pasar la noche con ellos y mi familia casi como si estuviera en mi casa.
Cons: Le pedi a la anfitriona cuando llegué un sancocho de gallo por un comentario que vi antes de alquilar y no me lo preparó.......jijijijijijiji

Pros: this was a great place. Terrific value. The host was exceptional.
Cons: The only downside is the location the neighbors raise fighting roosters, and they crow from three in the morning until 10 in the morning. Made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. I don’t think there’s anything the host could do about it though.
