A good place to stay in Puerto Plata

Pros: Safe and good neighborhood with walking distance to Parque Central, Pink street and Umbrella steet. Not very touristy area, so you get closer to the locals. Nice terrace with a good view over the city and sunset. The apartment was very warm... but the 2 bedrooms had a good aircondition. Sound proofing could be better.

Pros: Bel appartement, spacieux, très propre et très bien situé, meublé et décoré avec goût. Vue sur l’ océan et l’arrivée des paquebots. Proche du centre, des commerces et du terminal des autobus Metro.

Cons: Canapé et fauteuils pas très confortables à notre goût. Manque un peu de matériel dans la cuisine: grille-pain, une seule petite cuillère, mais ce sont des détails.

Overall an excellent stay.

Pros: Modern and comfortable furniture. Clean and spacious.

Cons: Nothing major but basics like drinking water, salt, pepper, etc. would be appreciated. Getting bottled water for an extended stay was tedious.
