5-day stay in a charming house

Pros: Mariana's apartment was fantastic.Marianna's house is located on the right side of the shop. It was about a 4-minute walk to Coson Beach (a quiet beach with a huge number of palm trees). The river mouth is about 800 meters away – it's also an interesting place to visit. We had a first-floor apartment with an amazing view of the mountains. I think it was the best apartment. It had a kitchen area and a bathroom. The cleanliness was impeccable. Mariana's house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, like paradise. There are chickens, peacocks, a cat, and we even saw a hummingbird at breakfast. Every day there was fresh juice from Marianna's own fruit, all natural. We will choose this place again next time. Marianna is a very kind and warm person. Thank you for staying with us.

Pros: Mariana was very friendly , she help us with everything . The place is sorounded by nature . Is very quiet and the beach is very near (3 min ) You don’t see the beach from the apartments .

Cons: There were a lot of mosquitos .

Mariana’s place has the basics, is very clean and close to a beautiful beach where you can surf!

Pros: Very clean and very friendly staff. Close to beautiful Coson Beach (where you can surf!). Cosy apartments with fully functioning kitchen. Calm surroundings. Cosy little pool.

Cons: Poor wi-fi and not the best communication and information from the staff.

Non vedo l’ora di ritornare!

Pros: Tutto. Avevamo una bella terrazza e la cucina. La colazione era super …con succhi di frutta fatti da Mariana e le marmellate fatte in casa. Era a 200 m dal mare con spiagge enormi senza troppa gente. Mariana e suo marito sono stati super gentili

Cons: Le zanzare…purtroppo erano tante e anche se avevamo lo spray, non aveva alcun effetto.

Pros: Une place tranquille dans la nature . Mme Mariana est très gentille . Le massage été très bien .

Très bon séjour, hôte agréable et logement spacieux

Pros: L’emplacement n’est pas à las terrenas même mais nous sommes à côté de la plage qui est très agréable, l’hôte est très accueillante et elle n’hésite pas à nous aider et nous conseiller! La chambre était très spacieuse, la douche super avec beaucoup de pression et le cadre du logement magnifique

Cons: la piscine n’était pas remplie quand nous sommes venues mais ce n’est pas très grave

Great for escaping civilization to the most beautiful beach in the DR

Pros: Great location if you want peace, quiet and nature. The house with a few apartments is located in the countryside, a few kilometers from Las Terrenas, about 200 meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in the DR - Playa Coson (the most beautiful we've seen during our two-week trip). This is truly a tropical paradise, perfectly clean and almost devoid of people. The owners are very friendly and they prepare the best breakfasts we had in any of the properties we stayed in the DR. The breakfast is not included, but definitely worth paying extra. Friendly cats that love being petted.

Cons: The bathroom in the apartment we stayed (2nd floor family studio) had no door. Yes, you read it right - the bathroom HAD NO DOOR. Fortunately you walk there from the bedroom, not the living room, but still the lack of privacy is very uncomfortable. Not to say I've never in my life encountered such absurd design. Very low water pressure. The pool is extremely small and not very clean - definitely do not stay here if you need a pool (but why anyone should care about a pool, while staying by the most beautiful beach in the country, is beyond me). The Internet connection is very slow, but considering the location it is good that it is at all. There are many mosquitos. Think twice if you don't have a car - unless you are deliberately choosing this location to stay away from the civilization. There are two good restaurants in a walking distance and a minimarket with very, very basic supplies, but getting to Las Terrenas without a car could be probably quite expensive and troublesome. We were checking-in in the evening and we got keys to the property, but after the guy that handed us the keys left, we realized we did not get any towels. The owners did not answer the phone or replied to our message on the portal. When we woke up in the morning the towels were waiting for us outside of the apartment, but had we not have our own beach towels, we could have not taken a shower in the evening after the long and tiring travel. The owners do not speak any English, so have Google Translate ready. :-) The description regarding the beach is technically misleading: \

Pros: Très propre, emplacement très proche de la plage, personnel adorable.

Cons: L'eau potable n'est pas fournie, il faut se la payer, ils vous vendent 200 pesos une bonbonne de 20l. Nous avons eu des problèmes avec l'eau chaude, je me suis souvent douchée a l'eau froide malgré nos nombreuses relances.

Pros: Das Personal ist unglaublich herzlich & der Ort perfekt zum abschalten/relaxen am wunderschönen Playa Coson. Wunderschöne, idyllische Unterkunft und ich hatte ein Apartment mit sauberer, funktionierender Küche und eigenem Badezimmer. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, es war so schön bei euch :-) Mariana ist sehr herzlich, sie hat mich bei vielen Dingen beraten und mir auch am Schluss geholfen ein Moto Taxi zu bekommen. Ich habe mich hier unglaublich wohl gefühlt.

Cons: Das einzige was ein bisschen blöd ist, ist dass man fast nichts in der Nähe hat und auf ein Auto oder Moped angewiesen ist (hat aber nichts mit der Unterkunft selber zu tun) und dass man die Unterkunft nur in Bar bezahlen kann, was ich aus Booking leider nicht rauslesen konnte & sicher für viele Leute wichtig zu wissen ist.
