Excellent property and super friendly host

Pros: The host was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We had issues with a delayed day trip which meant we struggled to get back in time for check out, the host was very sympathetic and let us keep our stuff in the room until very late in the day, saving us a load of worry and hassle. The apartments are immaculate and smell really nice, with plenty of facilities and bottled water provided. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and even a toasty maker. Would strongly recommend for anyone who wants a quiet self catered stay in puerto plata. Property is named after his wife which is sweet.

Cons: Location is slightly away from the main town but it was only a 15 minute walk so not really an issue.

Me sentí en casa

Pros: Me gustó todo, es un departamento amoblado y equipado, me sentí en casa, no faltaba nada. Y la atención de Carlos y su esposa fue excepcional. Me ayudaron en todo lo que necesité, es una familia maravillosa. Yo suelo hacer viajes de mochilero y la cercanía al centro histórico para mi fue sencilla, 10min caminando.

Cons: En el alojamiento solo sugeriría que la luz sea más potente pero no es algo negativo, solo algo que se puede mejorar.

The whole apartment was very clean and the host was super friendly.

Pros: The place was very very clean and the host was very kind and attentive.

Cons: Nothing I didn't like. This is not a resort. This is an apartment in town. You are very close to the the port (walking distance) which allowed me to easily meet the cruise ship when it came to port, which is exactly what I wanted.
