Good for those who don't expect too much from their accommodation

Pros: The location is great for those who are looking for peace and quiet. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped, which made the stay comfortable and pleasant.

Cons: The accommodation could be more affordable for what it offers. In addition, it is not close to the beach, so having a car or another means of transportation is necessary.

Pros: Our bungalow on the hill had the perfect layout, ingeniously divided between sleeping area, kitchen and hot water bathroom. The open views towards the North and East were agreeable, many hummingbirds frequenting the lush garden. The Italian owner answered all our questions politely and his local caretaker Mervin gave us a hearty welcome, even permitting early check-in. Overall great value and highly recommended.

Authentic local hotel for an authentic experience

Pros: Nice calm ambient. You get a lot if privacy and peace but at the same time you are very close to the town. The balcony was very nice. I loved the fact that it was an authentic local hotel. The host was also very nice and helpful.

Cons: I actually liked the fact that there was no wifi in the room, since I could really disconnect. But if you are here for work, please consider that. The swimming pool had no water so we could not use it. And for the bathroom there is no door but only a curtain.

Pros: The place is a set of several small houses scattered in a big area nicely organized with grass, paths, and small trees. Each house is a bit different, there are smaller and bigger ones. You rent one of such houses for an exclusive use. Our house was small but comfy, there was everything we needed, including hot water. Also two of the local dogs has accompanied us all the time, staying on our patio.

Cons: The location was quite far from the center and the beach, so it's a long walk or you need to use some transportation to get there. But apart from that the place was quiet and comfortable.

Great stay!

Pros: When we arrived, we had a warmly welcome with mervin. He is a very friendly guy. The room was big and clean. The mattresses were very comfortable. There was hot shower, a loot of hooks in the room an a lot of plugs. We had a really good fan, so it was not to hot to sleep. And there was also a refrigerator. It is close to the main road, so easy and quick to get to the restaurants, shops and beaches. Like other reviews said, the entrance road is not sealed but if you drive slowly, there is now problem to go there (even when it's raining.) The area is super nice with the cozy huts in a nice garden. We will come back when we are in the area again.

Nice cabaña suitable for a short stay

Pros: -Nice cabaña, has everything you need for a short stay -Good location as it’s very close to the main road -The owner is very friendly and flexible; we booked this place spontaneously and stayed in touch via WhatsApp

Cons: -There was constant cigarette smoke entering the place from the neighbors -It’s quite noisy, you hear the motos from the main road up until late at night. We didn’t rest well -It was a bit sad to see how the dogs living there are so so sweet but also scared of everyone, especially the person running the place, which makes you think about the way they treat them there…
