La Rancheta

Overall, a charming and welcoming place – we would definitely come back!

Pros: We had a great time at La Rancheta and really enjoyed our stay! The owners were super friendly and helpful – they assisted us with everything we needed and gave us great tips about the area. We were able to rent a scooter directly at the property, which was very convenient. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with generous portions and freshly prepared. We also loved the many sweet dogs and cats on-site, as well as the beautiful garden, which created a very relaxing atmosphere. A quiet and lovely beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and with the scooter, it only takes 5 minutes to get into town.

Cons: One small downside: the pool was unfortunately empty during our stay, so we couldn’t use it. But since the beach is so close, it wasn’t a big issue for us. The furniture is a bit dated, but that didn’t really bother us.

This place is a real hidden gem in las galleras, 100% recommend.

Pros: I had a great time. Grecia and Ronaldo are very kind people running the place with good vibes. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous to be completely surrounded by nature and las galeras is a pure tropical paradise to destress.

Cons: Mosquitos - it’s not something totally in control of the property owners but newer mosquito nets could be provided in the future.

Pros: Ronald is one of a kind host. He really worries about his guests. One day I went for a difficult hike and it took me the whole day, so he thought I got in trouble and went on his scooter to look for me. He was ready to go all the way to Fronton Beach to save me.....Incredible! Luckily we met in the middle of the road)))) Next day when I left he gave me a ride to the main road. He also made coffee for his guests every morning and shared delicious fruit. I never met a hotel owner who cared about anything but money....This guy is a real knight! He also has lots of cats and dogs who live by his property and he takes care of them

Pros: This place is so peaceful they're was so kind with me and pets 🐶🐕 was friendship 😍 I like the place peaceful 😊 beautiful place Ronaldo was so kind and helpful

Pros: La atención del personal fue muy buena desde nuestra llegada, la cabaña estaba bien equipada y el entorno muy bonito. Tuvimos la oportunidad de la lavar la ropa y siempre nos ofrecieron cafe y agua. Sin duda volveriamos.

Pros: Posto fantastico, immerso nella natura. Dove si vive la vera vita domenicana .

Beautiful place!!!

Pros: It’s such a beautiful place, very natural and with a beautiful view. It’s near the main beaches and it’s such a beautiful spot to getaway!

Cons: Mosquitoes were there but that has nothing to do with the property it’s just nature! The bongaloos had two twin beds that was pretty uncomfortable to sleep specially when you go as a couple.

La Rancheta, sitio genial

Pros: Me gusta mucho el estilo cabaña, casa y la ventilación cruzada que tiene, la tranquilidad y el ambiente de cordialidad y buen hacer de Ronald y sus equipo, gracias por todo asido un placer conocerles y estar en su casa, cuando vuelva por aquí seguro vendré aquí

Cons: Los pocos días y que pasan muy rápido

Pros: Hay lugares que te hacen sentir en casa, así es como Grecia nos trató, es súper amable y ponen todo a disposición de quien los visita. Nos convido una sopa de ceviche deliciosa, nos indicó a qué lugares podíamos ir, adónde sacar los tours más económicos y nos atendió a toda hora. Contratamos el desayuno preparado por Ronald y además de rico era súper abundante. El lugar es selvático, estás en contacto con muchas plantas y animales, ideal para la zona. Si bien el agua escasea, ellos prenden la bomba cuando se les solicita. Les recomendamos la estadía en La Rancheta, nosotros la pasamos genial.
