Hacienda La Huerta Puerto Plata

Book here was worth it.

Pros: Very clean, very private and nice - super relaxing would definitely recommend for families with kids so many trees with fruit etc. The only thing that sucks is that the uber taxi etc charge an insane amount for taking you to the city, because they know your tourist. We luckily found a local bus that sometimes stops, but not always and I wish there were a bus stop because its not fun when they give you an insane amount for taxi drives just because they know you are foreigner.

Cons: there is a small touristo bus that takes you to puerto plata city but it doesnt always stop so I wished for better bus stops because cab drivers try to charge 60 dollars which is not realistic because we know dominican price and a fair one would be 5 euro max 7,

Well kept, very nice hacienda with comfortable, pretty wooden houses.

Pros: I love the property. It is so green, nice, vegetation is amazing, room/small wooden house was clean, had all you need, smelling nice, wooden interior very charming, bed very comfortable . It is a huge property with a lot of space for parking, walking with a dog, well kept with a very nice and considerate host.

Cons: The area is great, green and looks peaceful but as it is very close to the road we found it fairly noisy including at night. Mosquitos were savages, they ate us alive. My repellent didn't really work, I was advised to use the one provided in the room...

Pros: Everything. The villa, the pool. Breakfast included.t

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. We didn't have a car so that was a slight problem.

Highly recommend! Like a peaceful island

Pros: We recommend this place full heartedly. If you are planning to visit Puerto Plata, this is 20 min drive away so you can enjoy the city and then come back to a peaceful environment. The staff were amazing. Every request or question was answered whiting minutes

Pros: Lovely accommodation and a great pool. Ariel was an excellent host as well.

Cons: No option to have dinner, but lots of options in the area.

Pros: Everything , beautiful apartment and property. Clean, safe, lots of details. Very clean and very comfortable. Lots of space for kids, great pool and lovely breakfast. Cannot fault anything

Great location

Pros: Location was amazing and the decoration and comfort of the cabana.

Cons: The pool was not clean and the electricity was a problem, this had more to do with the heavy rainfall during our stay and the staff was very helpful

Wonderfull stay

Pros: Ariel was extremely friendly and service-oriented. On the second day, he even treated us to a home-cooked dinner and fresh juices. The breakfast was delicious and locally sourced, and we had the pool all to ourselves. The small farm on the property was truly amazing, with well-kept animals. I particularly enjoyed the gardens surrounding the hacienda, which featured fruit trees like avocado and cacao plants, as well as the Rum museum.

Cons: The noise from the highway can be heard, but it significantly reduces after 10 pm.

Wonderful stay

Pros: Breakfast was delicious every morning, you can go for a walk and see all the animals beautiful farm, well kept and the location was perfect for us,, I would definitely recommend it. It’s really peaceful place will be back.
