Pros: The size of the room and own patio-garden. Big comfortable bed, fans, able to ventilate and let natural light in and still have privacy because of the garden plants blocking the view from passers-by. The restaurant is a must and in all honesty, one of the best we experienced in DR. The quality of the food and main product is noticeable. Side note:no one will force you or look at you funny if you don’t feel like having a go at their restaurant. I however, recommend their cocktails for a treat, very nice drinks too. Last, it’s great to see the owners there. They will check on you and make sure that you are okay. Very friendly and open people, hard-working and flexible - they will give you options, verbal advice, take time to explain things. It’s just the kind of attitude that makes you feel safe and welcomed. The rest of the staff were lovely and very professional too.

Cons: To be fair- in DR and price quality, you get what you pay for and it was our best stay in DR. The only thing would be providing more info about what is available while at las Galeras: main touristic sites, list of tours agencies, local transport, transport to the city, emergency lines, etc. I mean Lê BDM is not a tourist agency but since they work in the sector and are from the area they would be best placed to give advice.

Pros: Staff was super kind and polite. Sabine was very helpful and great host. The food in the restaurant was also really good. We’ve had a very pleasant stay!

Cons: Low shower pressure.

Pros: The staff is amazing and super friendly! We loved to stay there. Food is absolutely delicious 😋 The room is good, they even give you shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. They check / clean the room daily. The breakfast tastes good. The location is good for Las Galeras quite close to the beach.

Cons: There's only a fan in the room. For us it was okay because it wasn't too hot.

Pros: Bonjour!! We stayed at this place for one week and we really loved it. The room was very clean, big and we even had our own little garden and hammock. Sabine and her partner are really sweet and helped us with several questions we had on where to visit. Also the staff was very kind and the breakfast was delicious. Las Galeras is also a very good place to stay and explore Samana. It has a beach which you can walk to and all nice restaurants. We felt also very safe in Las Galeras, even at night. The restaurant from BDM is very good. They serve delicious food! They also have a great pool and private parking for your car. The wifi was also good and you have a clean room everyday! We really enjoyed our stay!! And recommend this to everyone who wants to explore more of the Dominican Republic!

Pros: lovely hotel, very good restaurant, spacious room. good location

Pros: Congrats to Ulrich for being such a host! He gave us plenty of information on what to visit and how to get to various sightseeing locations. The hotel is pretty close to the Las Galeras beach as well to the beautiful Playita beach. Next to the hotel there's a groceries store (if you like mango, watermelon). Whe the power went off in the village, luckily the property had its own generator as well as its own water pump. Rooms also had terraces with a nice view over the garden and pool.

Pros: Excellent restaurant. The rooms were spacious and cozy.
