Very nice hotel

Pros: Within the old town, it had a very nice spacious room. The hotel staff was very nice and made us feel welcome. I would recommend it for anyone that wants a convenient stay within the old town.

Cons: The hotel should have a clearly marked sign, it was a bit difficult to find as it looks just like any other property around.

Simple room in perfect location

Pros: Simple room in perfect location to explore Santo Domingo. All sights in walking distance. We arrived late and enjoyed our 10 minute evening stroll to the old center which was still buzzing and noisy.

Cons: Be warned that the rooms are super simple. Ours was on the ground floor without window, sound travels far in case of noisy neighbours. But no street noise, and good bed.

Pros: Didn’t arrive until 5am as flight was delayed..very accommodating at such a late hour

Cons: Not sign posted very well..took ages to find it even tho the taxi was right outside it as the signage was impossible to see

Pros: Very nice and friendly hosts who gave us plenty of info about Santo Domingo. Very large room. Restaurants and shops within a few walking minutes. After getting a little acquainted with the AC, it worked well.

Cons: The shower in our room sprayed diagonally, which might make it harder for small people to shower properly. The location is at the edge of the Ciudad Colonial, so there is always a little walking involved (which was fine for us). One of the two pillows we got was very uncomfortable but we could easily exchange that after the first night. Room smelled a little like a basement room (which it was).
