El Yaguacil Aparta Hotel

Pros: Cute apartment with nice garden. Friendly host who gives a lot of useful information.

Cons: Night was hard- dogs, roosters and cats were so noisy. Sofa bed was too short for the adult.

Very quite apartment with an amazing garden

Pros: I liked the swimming pool in the tropical garden. Victor the owner is very nice and gave us suggestions on nice things to do in Jarabacoa

Cons: Air conditioning also in the living room would be nice but not really necessary. The ventilator is enough

Pros: Victor was very friendly, the rooms where very comfortable and we really got to relax in this place.

A beautiful and peaceful stay in nature

Pros: A beautiful and well looked after property. Bed was very comfy, great aircon and fans to keep cool. The owners are lovely!

Pros: Really nice and clean apartment with AC, small kitchen and balcony. There is a peaceful garden area with pool and place to chill, available to all guests. The host is very nice and he helped us with recommendations for activities, restaurants and things to do in the area. Apartment is only a walking distance away from center, where you can find supermarket, bars and restaurants.

Pros: Beautiful peaceful garden location. Nice apartment. Victor was incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay.

Cons: Having to walk on main road to get to Jarabacoa- mosquitoes were bad but these cannot be prevented by the hotel!

A lovely and peaceful stay at El Yaguacil

Pros: We spent 3 lovely nights at El Yaguacil. Victor was very welcoming and provided us with plenty of recommendations for visiting. The place itself is clean and furnished with the basics for a few days, especially if you do not want to go out for dinner (Netflix is also available on the TV). The hotel is very peaceful (really offer the possibility to disconnect) and well located (a few minutes drive from city center). Whether it's inside or outside, at breakfast with a cup of coffee or evening with a glass of wine, we enjoyed very much this place!

Cons: The bathroom could benefit from a small makeover (e.g. the shower wasn't draining properly)

Peace, calm and our private jungle apartment

Pros: This is an amazing apartment with your own little private jungle right next to it. We really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment of Jarabacoa, and this reflected itself on this apartment. The host only spoke Spanish but really did his best to be helpful and gave us all the information required for our stay there. We received a complete list of activities via WhatsApp. The room itself was clean and all the facilities mentioned were available.

Cons: Nothing really, however just a small tip. Bring a musquito net and some repellent

Un lugar muy acogedor!

Pros: Lee esto ; Si eres alguien que de verdad quieres tener un lugar para quedarte con lo necesario y conocer jarabacoa y no eres una persona que se queja por todo y eres humilde. Excelente ubicación, es literal 3 minutos del centro del pueblo, súper tranquilo y el señor anfitrión muy amable y te da recomendaciones para visitar lugares. Buen lugar para tenerlo de base y salir a explorar, en esa misma ruta está el salto de Jimenoa 1 menos de 15 minutos y salto de Baiguate por igual. La zona es segura, yo salí solo a las 6 AM a ejercitarme en caminata y habían más personas ejercitándose durante el camino.
