Royal Terrace V (Duque)

PERFECT! It couldn’t have been better! Extremly friendly and helpful stuff, clean rooms!

Pros: Everything was amazing!! It was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful! I loved the view from the top of the building over the city and felt very at home!! There was even water and coke in the fridge and some snacks outside. It is not completely in the center, but just 10 mins by taxi to all the main attractions - so no big deal and important stuff like a pharmacy and grocery shop are literally in front of the door!!

Cons: /

Pros: A really sweet spot with mountain view from the common terrace and sea view from the balcony. The Studio was complete with amenities and the host caring and attentive.

Cons: There is a bit of noise from the road outside in the early morning but otherwise pretty calm and safe.

Pros: We spent 6 nights at Royal Terrace (3 more than originally booked). Our apartment was very comfortable, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. Our welcoming and considerate hosts, Hector and Marta made sure we had everything we needed. In fact, Hector drove to 'rescue' us when we accidentally arrived at the wrong address; this was our error... there is more than one Calle 6 in that part of Puerto Plata, so be careful if using Google Maps to guide you.

Cons: There was only 1 problem. A church group meets in the building next door on some evenings. We believe this is meant to be just 2 nights per week between about 7:30pm and 10pm. However, we were subjected to 4 occasions, one of which lasted to after 11pm. The problem with this was the volume of the music... it was very, VERY LOUD and highly intrusive. We were in Room 1 next to the church building... the other three rooms would be more shielded from the racket. Hector intended to talk to the church pastor about this, so hopefully the problem will be contained to just 2 nights per week. Apart from this, Royal Terrace is a pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

Excellent stay , no complaints.

Pros: Everything was great , our host Hector is a lovely person , he was friendly and helpful. The room was a good size lots of space. We cooked in the room every day. Really nice outdoor space and the residential area that the room is set is very nice and safe. The main town area is a bit of a walk but if you don’t fancy it then there are mototaxi bikes nearby.

Un alojamiento muy lindo y limpio

Pros: Héctor, el dueño, es muy amable y nos alojó un día en el apartamento 5. El apartamento en si fue limpio, decorado muy lindo, y con muchas comodidades. Hay una terraza y un balcón privado, una mini cocina con una nevera, estufa eléctrica, greca, todo que se necesita para el café, y cacharros. En el baño había jabón y una secadora de pelo. Muy recomendable este lugar!!!

Cons: Hay que subir mucho desde la calle principal pero no es tan difícil, y puedes subir en moto. Vale la pena por la privacidad y tranquilidad del barrio!

Buen lugar

Pros: El lugar muy asado y muy organanizado se nota el empeño de los dueños, muy amables.

Cons: Hay un poco de ruido en el exterior

Con ganas de volver

Pros: Todo estuvo bastante bien desde la persona que nos atendió, la habitación muy limpia y bien cuidada. Relación calidad precio 10/10.

Cons: Que estuvo lloviendo pero nada que ver con el alojamiento.

Pros: Las preocupaciones de don Hector, siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar con actividades por realizar, lugares por conocer y para ir a comer. Buena ubicación y excelente atención.

Pros: La habitación: limpia, bonita, vista a la montaña.

Cons: No está muy cerca del centro y en las mañanas no encontraba transporte Uber para moverme. Taxi sí, pero son caros.

Amé el apartamento

Pros: Un apartamento muy cómodo y limpio, ideal para descansar ó trabajar sin ruido exterior. El dueño muy atento y muy amable.

Cons: Le faltan más enchufes para electricidad.
