Amazing staff and location
Pros: The staff was great and young lady super kind (sorry I forgot her name). The first night we couldn't put our car in the parking but the next days we were able to, even when we were not sleeping at the hotel. The place very close to the port in case you need to take the boat to Saona, which was also our main goal.
Cons: All was good

Functional for our travel purposes
Pros: Close tothe beach, quite area, nice rooms and nice view from the terrace.
Cons: The personnel was a bit rude with us at our arrival

Good for families and solo travelers
Pros: The room is very clean, the AC is working, there is hot water in the shower, daily room cleaning, a fridge. As a solo female traveller I felt VERY safe there, overall in the hotel and in the city. There is a supermarket, restaurants and a money exchange office in a walking distance. The restaurant at the Villa Iguana serves amazing food !
Cons: The breakfast was everyday the same and quite poor (1 egg, 1 loaf of bread, 1 piece of fruit, small cake, coffee and juice). It would be amazing if there was more choice.

Great little boutique hotel. Outstanding staff.
Pros: Staff are exceptional. The housekeeping is daily. They are all so friendly and do a great job. The breakfast server is so sweet. I was happy to have breakfast each day. I loved my fresh fruit juice. Nancy at reception is an asset, she is amazing. Location is good. They have a 360 degree view of the village from the rooftop. It helped orient me. The plunge pool is a nice temperature.
Cons: Please add some wall hooks to Sea Turtle room. Doors are not soundproof, but the walls are. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep in.

Amazing location.
Pros: I like the rooftop pool and patio, and location was fantastic about a 3 minute walk to the sea ,close to a market.for cheap alcohol and snacks! Close to a scooter rental and scuba dive shop! And tons of bars and restaurants , we rode scooters to playa dominicas it was spectacular and quick!
Cons: The breakfast, I pretty much just drank the coffee

Great for short stay
Pros: This simple but clean accommodation offers a rooftop restaurant and pool with stunning views. The staff are polite, making it a perfect spot for a short stay before heading to Isla Saona.
Cons: I'm not sure taking a deposit from guests is necessary. This was the only place in the Dominican Republic where I encountered this practice.

EXCELLENT PRICE x Quality
Pros: Everything was great, excellent price x quality, the staff was super nice and helpful, it has this great rooftop on the top and the food of the restaurant was even better. My sister is planning on renting some rooms to celebrate her 30th bday there, as there is also the pool area. It was a small and good price hotel, the room was very clean.

Great place in Bayahibe
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff team, fantastic location near the centre, lovely property with a roof terrace restaurant and pool. Our room was beautifully cleaned each day, and nice that it included breakfast. The air con was a plus. Do ask for a local taxi driver, they are fair prices and helpful.
Cons: The kettles in both our rooms were fixed in place but not near a socket! When we asked about it, no replacement was given.

Highly recommended
Pros: great hotel stay at Villa Iguana - super comfy rooms, amazing staff and excellent location. We had a hired car and gated carpark was important. AC and Internet worked like a charm.
Cons: The advertised pool was not available - tbh the size is very small and looks like an oversized jacuzzi which I doubt we would have availed ourselves of anyway!
