Excellent place

Pros: Spacious and clean room Good WiFi Nice bathroom with hot water Very good location, very close to the beach Nice garden with swimming pool Friendly host

Pros: Excellent Location - feels like a hidden paradise but steps away from the beach and town centre. Excellent Staff - The owner is very friendly, approachable and available. The staff are also very kind and readily available. Very clean and comfortable Beautiful pool Definitely recommend. Will be back!

A comfortable stay, close to beaches and restaurants!

Pros: This a lovely spot in Las Terrenas! Well maintained property, walking distance to everything, mostly quiet. Great value for Las Terrenas, easy to communicate with owner.

Cons: The daily cleaning could have been better but it did get better when we mentioned it. Mosquito net had tears and holes so rendered somewhat useless. We loved the big bed but could have used more desk space in the king room and more hooks to hang items like hand towels (but that’s just a personal pet peeve of mine).

Holidays par excellence!

Pros: Vincent and his family own a little peace of heaven on this planet. If you visit this part of the world stay here....there is no way you'll regret it. Except if you hate geckos😎

Cute, intimate stay

Pros: I may have been the only guest at the time, but it was peaceful intimate and comfortable. The ladies working were friendly. Good location, right by beach and walking distance to many bars etc

Cons: The only thing I would say is that they could have cleaned the mosquito net in the room.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the city and the beach

Pros: Rooms are really comfortable, each one has its own terrace, the garden is really spacious, the pool is really nice, and the location is perfect, really close to all the restaurants and the beach but still really quite. The owner was also really kind so everything was perfect !

Pros: Everything is amazing at this stay, the location close to the beach and the restaurants in town . I loved the serene vibe of the house and garden and Vincent and his family were the most welcoming and helpful hosts. Breakfast was very good as well !

Perfect place to stay in Las Terrenas

Pros: Best place to stay in Las Terrenas - clean, spacious rooms, good shower, delicious breakfast and most importantly, Vincent (the owner) was super helpful and always available to answer questions! Would definitely stay again!

Highly recommended 5-star experience!

Pros: We stayed at Casa Shambala for one week and we truly enjoyed our stay! The accommodation is amazing and just like in the photos. Everything is clean, modern and well taken care of. The owners were friendly and we felt very welcomed. We also had breakfast there every morning and it was great; every morning we had something different (scrambled eggs, cakes, crepes/pancakes, fresh fruits and juice..). The B&B is located approximately 200m from the beach and the main road where you can find restaurants and shops. Even though the main road can be quite busy, the pool area is quiet and we almost had the pool just for ourselves :) I have high standards for accommodations but I can definitely recommend Casa Shambala - you won’t regret it!

Cons: We stayed at the hotel during Easter holidays (Semana Santa) and it was quite crowded and crazy in the area! So if you want to ensure a quieter holiday, avoid that time of the year ;)
