Where to Stay in LA Romana

Pros: The property is beautiful! The hosts are exceptionally accommodating. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was lovely and very clean. The food was delicious! The beakfast was exceptional. If someone is staying the night in LA Romana prior to going on a cruise, this is an amazing choice!

Friendly place

Pros: Everybody was nice and welcoming. Giovanni's mom was really friendly and wanted us to feel at home. The food at the restaurant is simply amazing, thanks to Giovanni. We enjoyed our stay and would come back!

Great one night stay after cruise, love this little boutique hotel

Pros: Lovely small family run hotel, really friendly and pleasant surroundings, clean pool and attentive staff fabulous breakfast included and a really nice evening menu to order from, all food delicious

Pros: We really liked the hospitality that we received from Giovanni and his family. We could calm down and relax. The Music at the pool area was very soothing and of different kinds of genre...from lounge, to classic rock even until ambience music from famous videogames. Our room was big, the shower worked good, the balcony/terrace was our place to be...the bed was huge and of good quality. What really need to be mentioned is the special menu that Giovanni will provide in the evening. It's a menu from all his experiences all over the world mixed up with his italian nature. We booked the place before and after our trip with a cruise ship, the terminal is close by (ten minutes by taxi...and you really want to take the taxi because the traffic and the motorbikes are crazy on the way).

Pros: Hotel El Dorado was exellent. They are very hepfull, friendly. Staff made our stay more relax. Hotel El Dorado has everything to make your holiday comfortable and relax. All penny worte it. They give us free upgrate to king superial room has everything to be realex and enjoy your stay. All the food were delisues 5☆. Menu has variet food combination. I am warmly recommed Hotel EL Dorado for all age & familly...

Pros: This family owned hotel is a hidden gem. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The grounds and pool were always neat and clean. Dining was beside the pool. The property was very secure. I would definitely recommend this hotel vs going to an all inclusive pre or post a cruise. Well done Giovanni, family, and staff.

A little bit of Italy

Pros: We loved everything. The place is very secure. The gardener does an excellent job of making the property pleasant. The owners made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would have loved to stay a few more days to try everything Giovanni offers in his restaurant. Everything was excellent. We truly felt like we were in Italy. We 100% recommend it. A big thank you.
