Hostal 53 Boutique Santo Domingo

Pros: We had a very comfortable three day stay as a family. The receptionists were very kind and professional, and they helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was great. The homemade toast and eggs were delicious, and we really appreciated the lady who prepared and served the food. Listening to birds singing on the rooftop terrace was a lovely and relaxing experience. The room was also very clean. We can confidently say this is one of the best hotels in Santo Domingo.

Pros: I liked hostal boutique 53 santo domingo The activate activating staff Pamela was excellent as she guides on how move around she told me first to carry my passport first time but I seems to forget

Cons: The fact that I could have been moving fast nd forgotten my pass but nevertheless the police lock mih up not in station but dungeon prison

Pros: Staff vey friendly and helpfull. Even we arrived late in the night from airport there was no issue to check in. It was clean. Localization 10-15min walk to Colonial district.

Good stay near the colonial zone

Pros: Hotel was basic but as expected and at a very good price. Good location for the colonial zone. Thank you also to the kind staff who helped us print our boarding passes for our flight.

Pros: Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was decent.

Cons: Consider reserving rooms on entrance floor as it was a little bit noisy because of the street and reception (not people's noise but phone rings). Also water booster is somewhere close, it is also a little noisy.

If we were in the DR we would definitely stay here again.

Pros: We loved how helpful and friendly everyone was, the room was very clean and well kept! We only stayed one night as we had an early flight the next morning. The bed was really Comfy we had a great nights sleep. The security was great as we had to leave at 4:00 in the dark.

Cons: Nothing it was honestly one of the best hostels we stayed at on our current trip, the hot water could of been better but it’s not really an issue seeing it is hot so the cold water is nice to cool you down.

Friendly staff in a central location

Pros: Super friendly staff, especially the receptionist and the breakfast lady. Very helpful and kind. Also the location of the property is good, close to the main attractions in a safe area.

Accomodation which Exceeds Expectations

Pros: Excellent location, staff, facilities for incredible value for money! I really enjoyed everything about this accomodation. Right after the booking Mickael contacted us and was very supportive for whatever might be needed. Property is exceptionally well maintained with clean facilites and beautiful interior. The terrace is fantastic, and so is the breakfast! Considering the price this is an obsolute win! As a pleasant bonus, they don't charge extra for electricity, as is often the case in Dominican Republic. The property was around 20 minute walk from the bus station and around 10 minute walk to Colonial zone.

Cons: The rooms are quite small, and bed takes most of the room, which is not a problem at all if you just need a place to sleep and shower. Luckily, there is a great terrace if you wish to chill outside or telework.

Comfy rooms, amazing service.

Pros: Mickael was amazing. Incredible customer service. So helpful from long before my stay because I needed something posted to the hotel. Also the rooms were the comfiest I stayed in on this whole trip. Highly recommended.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
