Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada - All Inclusive

We had great time in Iberostar and we would love to come back next year.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with lots of attractions, big swimming pool , lovely food and friendly staff.

Cons: Rooms are bit dated

Beautiful location, lovely premises, good choice of restaurants and happy staff

Pros: Very spacious and lots of facilities. Very friendly staff

Cons: My mother in-laws room was damp Sea was a bit rough for swimming

We enjoyed our stay very much. Relaxing and smooth vacation.

Pros: The rooms were nice and clean. AC was perfect. And the view from the balcony was beautiful. Excellent pool and beach.

Cons: The bathtub was little dirty. The food was almost the same everyday, but good.

Very good stay at puerto plata

Pros: Iberostar is iberostar. Everything was very very good.

Cons: Beach was always full of sea greens. One day beach was totally green. Resort is kind of small.

I enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this resort to people. It is a great price!

Pros: What I loved about the resort was how friendly everyone was! I felt safe being at the resort. It was a beautiful place. The resort was well kept and the views were amazing. There was so much room at this place. I loved the fact that the beach was only a few feet away from our hotel room. The price was amazing for everything that was included. There were so many options of breakfast and food! Our family definitely very much enjoyed the Japanese/hibachi. We ended up eating there 3 times during our stay there because the food was great and the experience was amazing! The pool was clean and well kept. Staff were constantly out cleaning things. There were so many great places to take pictures. The peacocks on the resort were cool to see! There are so many different thing and activities to participate in and keep you busy while staying on the resort.

Cons: The only thing that I didn’t like on the resort was some of the experiences while on the beach. There were people who owned their own shops somewhere near or on the beach that were persistently attempting to sell you things. Even when you say no they would take a few minutes of just standing there and not walking away. This happened multiple times while being on the beach and it happened every day! Which definitely made it hard to relax and enjoy the beach. Also, no fault of the resort at all! But it was a red flag so we weren’t able to enjoy going in the ocean as much as we wanted to due to the lifeguards enforcing that people weren’t able to go in the water.

Had a great time

Pros: Had a great time. The hotel is clean, friendly staff. Good entertainment at the pool, plentiful beach side and pool side lounge chairs. Japanese and Mexican restaurants are very good. Good entertainment at all day long.

Cuidado con los costos adicionales si reserva por Booking

Pros: El espacio es muy limpio y todo ordenado, el menú variado, el personal de animación excelente

Cons: Al entrar al hotel me cobraron un cobro adicional de RD$6,000.00 por haber reservado el hotel por la plataforma Booking, por lo que creo que es discriminatorio y un abuso por parte del hotel. Es el único punto que debe cambiar..

Relajante

Pros: Lo cómodo y que tenían muchos horarios para la comida

Cons: El personal del bufet se sentía como que si no le daban propina no te daban un buen servicio y había poca variedad en la comida

Pros: Los animadores muy buenos y carismáticos, alias Rambo y alias ninja son muy duros

Cons: Las reservas de los restaurantes que no tienen atención al cliente y muy mal habladas más con los dominicanos
