Fantastic find in Santo Domingo

Pros: The best part of this experience was the lady who runs the B&B, who went over and beyond as hostess. It is 5 minutes walk to the old town area, and just a few minutes from restaurants and cafes, and a bureau de change for changing money. They also have a fridge with fair-priced drinks, and a small kitchen for tea and coffee, as well as a free drinking water dispenser, which was a life-saver in the heat of Santo Domingo. Rooms are airconditioned. They also arranged someone to pick me up at the airport, which was on the more expensive side, but worth it for piece of mind in opinion (tip: if you pay the taxi in pesos, it will be a better price).

Pros: Located in Zona Colonial hotel offers many amenities. It’s clean here and stuff is very nice and helpful.

Cons: Lack of mosquito net in the window ;(

I recommend it and would come back

Pros: My sister and I booked the Deluxe Quadruple Room and our stay was amazing! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Colonial Zone but not in a busy street meaning it is quiet at night. Everything you could want is within 10 minutes walk. There is a well equipped bathroom with towels and a kitchen with a water tank. I adored the balcony and views from the rooftop. David & Elemis are wonderful hosts who will do everything to make your stay comfortable. They answered all my questions, even unrelated to our stay and were very prompt communicators.

Cons: More toilet paper please ;) Don't leave crumbs or ants will come! To be clear this is a hostel-hotel hybrid so the rooms and bathrooms are private like hotel but the kitchen and balcony is shared with the other guests on the floor (3 rooms total). It was not a problem since we had the whole floor to ourselves for 90% of our stay, except another guest coming in around 3am on our last night which the main door to the floor is creaky.

A must stay!

Pros: David and Elemis are great hosts. The have a lot of great deals on excusions. (Much cheaper than the rest). The place was the cleanest and most comfortable we found in Santo Domingo. The location was central and safe, walking distance to restaurants and attractions.

Pros: It's super clean and very welcoming Very well maintained place . I strongly recommend this hotel plus it is well located

Pros: Excellent rooftop to hang out on, great location in the historic centre, comfortable room and some nice common areas to chat to others.

Cons: I could hear a bit of noise coming from common areas in my room but not a big deal.
