Hotel Villa Taina

Great location, friendly staff, right by the beach

Pros: The hotel is in a wonderful location- right by the beach-- the bar and restaurant area have a lovely cosy feeling and a relaxed atmosphere-- the staff were very helpful- and the Internet connection was quite strong-- the gymnasium was tiny and very underequipped-- the breakfast was okay, buffet style

A gem in the middle of the action

Pros: Cabarete is quite spread out and this felt about as central as you can get. So it’s super easy to find things like food, equipment rental etc. Mostly I just ate at the hotel restaurant though because the food was exceptional.

Best Location, Very Secure place to stay

Pros: We always chose Villa Taina for our Stay in Cabarete, it has best location, We feel secure as a family traveling with kids The ambiance is really fresh Overall is a great experience

Great for a couple stay right on the beach, both watersports on premise and access to nightlife

Pros: Perfect combination and location of the hotel: you can kite/watersport on premise but also are right in the middle of what cabarete has to offer: nightlife, restaurants, shops etc Nice Caribbean atmosphere with a soulful touch: still feels Caribbean and not a generic apartment/ hotel Breakfast is varied and it includes a lot of food sortiments Great happyhour offers, and in general food is delicious and varied; Dominican and mongolian buffet are excellent initiatives Im a return customer, after staying here in 2024 , I returned in 2025 Rooms are large and comfortable with aircon Staff is great!

Cons: Massage/spa parlour are gone this year? Every 4* hotel should have such facilities and the massage/costmetic treatments should be available on site More entertainment during the evenings: live music for instance like the saxophone player on Wednesdays, it was fantastic Better quality bathroom products: your gel/shampoos are awful and they stink! had to use own products :( that is a disappointment Sun chairs/lounges look quite old school and cheap (plastic ones) comparing to the neighbours facilities. Please invest in better options and make sure to have them available from the beginning. Ideally you want to extend the bar service at the sun loungers on the beach (instead of always having to go to the bar/restaurant)

Extremely relaxing

Pros: Tropical atmosphere, right on the best part of the beach

Cons: The stairs dropping into the lobby, no ramp, no elevator. With luggage it becomes a problem

Pros: The staff is very friendly and the bedrooms are just as the pictures and very clean.

The room was clean, AC worked well, the staff were friendly, I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Hotel was clean, great location, right on the beach, the staff were friendly.

Cons: The beds were not the most comfortable but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

Pros: Food was excellent, service was excellent, rooms are very clean and modern, and you are dog friendly. Yeah!!! We will be back next year. 🤗👍👍

Exceptional location. Good value.

Pros: Location is ideal. My kids transitioned from pool to beach multiple times. Walked up the beach for delicious meals. Upgraded to ocean front w balcony and it was worth it.

Cons: No umbrellas (but some shade from palms).
