Fantastic accommodation on a good location.

Pros: Basically everything. Location 2-5 min away from the beach. Spacious room and the beds were very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and staff as well. We definitely come back here when visiting DR again. Thanks for a great week!

A quiet and cosy place to surf

Pros: It was a super calming environment, very quiet at night along with a big cosy bed meant I got the best nights sleep. The room was very spacious and so was the shower. The breakfast was also tasty and a much needed pick-me-up after surfing in the morning (which is only a 5 minute walk away). Ruben is very hospitable and accommodating, he made me feel very welcome during my stay. Probably my favourite stay after being in the DR for 5 weeks. Had such a good time I extended my stay twice.

Great stay

Pros: Relaxing stay. Great host and staff. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, lots of space. Walking distance to the beach, short car ride to Cabarete town.

Cons: The last stretch of the road to get there was bumpy but manageable.

Pros: Rooms are spacious and have modern fixtures. Very close to the beach but we unfortunately didn’t have good weather. A short cab ride from the main town area. Staff was friendly and super helpful.

Petit séjour de 2 nuits dans un endroit à proximité de tout, intime et très agréable.

Pros: L’accueil était fantastique. Malgré le fait que nous avons changé notre heure d’arrivée, car parfois en voiture il est difficile de prévoir, nous avons été bien reçu, avec un bon café expreso. La plage est à peine 1 minute à pied. Le déjeuner était super, sur les 3 choix possibles nous en avons essayé 2 et c’était parfait, très généreux, avec jus frais et très bon café. La chambre est spacieuse et très moderne et la douche est parfaite.

Cons: Mini bémol! Le lit est légèrement mou et les oreillers trop molles et moltoneuses. Mais nous aimons les lits très fermes et les oreillers minces et uniformes, alors rendu là, ce n’est qu’une question de goût.

Kleines Bijou in Standnähe - Exzellent für ruhesuchende Gäste und für Sufer.

Pros: Neues, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Boutique-Hotel in sehr ruhigen Strandnähe. Ein kleines Bijou (8 Einheiten; 4 Wohnungen und 4 Hotelzimmer auf zwei Etagen verteilt). Schöne Zimmer oder Wohnungen mit allen notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten. Kleiner Pool, schöner und offener Gästebereich. Ausserordentlich freundliches Personal. Ausserordentlich freundlicher Besitzer / Gastgeber, der auch offen für Anregungen ist und bereit ist, die Wünsche der Gäste soweit wie möglich zu erfüllen und viele Fragen zu der Umgebung zu beantworten. Gutes Frühstück, Bar mit kleinen Snacks. Kleiner Einkaufsladen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Familiärer Betrieb, in dem man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Restaurants sind in der Nähe (Coconuts, Food Park) und in Perla Marina, Cabarete und Sosúa zu finden.

Cons: Um diese Unterkunft zu erreichen ist ein Mietwagen notwendig. Die Strassenverhältnisse sind etwas schwierig, da viele Schlaglöcher die Zufahrt etwas erschweren (gilt ab Hauptstrasse Puerto Plata - Cabarete) bis zu El Encuentro Beach.
