I recommend this beautiful hotel to couples, beautiful nature and a beautiful pool

Pros: Continental breakfast, you could add an omelette or fried egg.

Cons: The wifi was not good. Everything was fine, the hostess was very friendly and pleasant

Nice place, money for value.

Pros: Very good location, just 5 minutes from the busy streets and beach. Just enough that you don't hear the cheap noisy roller bikes all night. Breakfast was good but...

Cons: The breakfast is not buffet but, fixed with a few options. Although it was good, the breakfast took forever to serve all the days we were there (about 45min). And the options are that if you take an omelette, you can't have pancakes so someone with a bit more appetite might not get a full stomach there.

Charming and romantic stay in Las Terrenas

Pros: We had a wonderful stay and felt welcome from the very first moment, greeted with a refreshing freshly squeezed juice. The hotel grounds and surroundings are absolutely beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are rustic, full of charm, and very cozy, perfectly matching the character of the place. In the evenings, the bar is open until 11 p.m., offering an intimate and romantic ambiance that we truly enjoyed. The seawater pool is especially refreshing and beautiful, and we loved that it is available without fixed opening hours, allowing for complete relaxation at any time of day. A truly special place that we would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Las Terrenas.

Cons: Make sure to allow enough time for breakfast, as there can be a bit of a wait, but it is definitely worth it.

Pros: The best hotel to stay in Las Terrenas. Calm and relax, close to everything, great pool especially in the evening. The owner and the stuff are very nice and helpfull. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Lush Tropical Paradise

Pros: The common areas, the pool, the tropical garden, we could not have made a better choice than La Tortuga. The fact that the hotel is not on the main road/sea front makes it a much quieter place. The staff was amazing. We originally booked for 3 nights but then extended our stay for another 4 nights. The rooms were spacious. The location was great. There was a gym nearby. And there was yoga twice a week. The staff also accommodated any extra wishes.

Cons: The breakfast could have been a little more generous.

Pros: Nice and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful tropical garden with a nice pool. Good location. 10-20 minutes walk to the “clean” beach areas. 10 minutes walk to the center where you find shops, restaurants, party locations.

Cons: Too small breakfast for a normal eating men. When you ask for more they charge extra. I don’t thing this appropriate for a hotel in this price category. Others offer a buffet where you don’t have this issue.

Wonderful stay with tropical vibes

Pros: Beautiful place to stay. Wonderful tropical garden en pool, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Las Terrenas again.

Cons: The rooms are a little outdated and could use a makeover.
