Great stay, but payment price was different from what booking showed.

Pros: We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Albachiara. The hotel is very clean, the location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and polite throughout our visit.

Cons: we were disappointed with the payment experience. The final price did not match what was shown on Booking, as a different exchange rate was applied. We were also told that we needed to pay in cash to maintain the original price; otherwise, it would cost more. We did not find this clear or entirely honest

Pros: Beautiful hotel and close to everything you may need specially the beautiful beach across the road. The team at the hotel were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety and really nice. Thanks to all the Team.

Pros: I came back to this hotel a second time after 9 years. I stayed here for a week with my husband to kite surf. It is very close to the kite surf beach and schools (walking distance) and also right by the center of town where all the restaurants/bars are. The hotel is beautiful and spacious, nice pool area with bar, the rooms are very spacious and super clean, breakfast is really nice and is served until 11:30 a.m., no mosquitoes... we absolutely loved it and will come here again!

Beautiful property and perfect location

Pros: The property was lovely, colonial style with lots of flowers and a nice swimming pool. The room was big, with a nice open terrace. The staff was welcoming and they were speaking English!

Cons: Everything was good!

Great hotel in ideal locaton

Pros: Huge pool, and close to the sea. Very spacious room, especially the covered terrace. Good location with many restaurants within walking distance. Lovely breakfast overlooking the sea with lots of fruit and good choices! Eg pancakes! We found some of the best souvenir shops in DR in this town!

Cons: WiFi was a bit annoying - slow. Also found sunbeds uncomfortable.
