Pros: Luca does a very good job in welcoming his guests and making them feel at home! The location is great, in a pretty residential street a stroll away from the beaches. A friendly and sociable place with different accomodation options depending on your budget. Thankyou Luca and volunteer staff for a great stay!

Pros: We had such a lovely experience! The location was perfect - close to the main street of Las Galeras and just a few minutes away from the beach. The staff was lovely, everything was perfect, we would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back soon :)

Pros: Very nice place, with a very friendly staff. Good location, very close to the center and the beach, but in a quiter area, not by the main road.
Cons: The rooms have an open roof with a common roof covering all of them. So basically you can hear everything from the other rooms. Still, it was quite quiet, so actually not a problem for me. There was hot water in the shower but it needed the owner to fix something to make the heater working. It broke again after a few minutes.

Friendly staff makes it good for a short stay
Pros: Basic but definitely worth the stay. Super friendly and helpful staff. Big room, mosquito net, fan. Good restaurants nearby. Parking in the street possible for free.
Cons: Cleanliness could be a bit better, especially the (shared) bathrooms. A bit far from the beach if looking for this.

Friendly and colorful hostel with big communal area and kitchen.
Pros: The owner of the hostel, as well the others I met there, was really friendly and makes you feel welcome. I had a „room“/compartment of my own that gave me more privacy than a dorm. I liked it a lot to have my plug, lamp, wardrobe and mirror. It’s easy to meet other travellers there. You can prepare your meal if you don’t want to try one of the cute restaurants of Las Galeras or the delicious empanadas sold on the Main Street. Bring you own coffee, there’s Italian coffee makers for a good start in the morning. There’s small shops close to the hostel, and you can use the fridge, very useful. Las Galeras has several great beaches, so it’s worth staying a while to relax. I miss it already! Grazie per tutto!
Cons: Despite being on a side street, it was quite noisy sometimes, because there don’t seem to be „quiet times“, and it’s very open space (this is lovely in general). The DR is generally louder than elsewhere, very noisy motorbikes and music any time (I love music, but not that loud that you can’t talk or sleep anymore), dogs barking, cocks crowing early in the morning. But bring good earplugs and you‘ll have a sweet sleep. 😴
