Pure awesomness in samana

Pros: This hotel is like a castle over the samana town. What did i like? The great location, as the samana bay is my favorite spot in DR. The breathtaking views over the sea from the very comfortable room, from the pool, from the elevators... what else? The staff, very friendly n helpful..the large choice of nice food... What else? The decoration of the hotel, full of nice paintings, the excursions available around samana bay (seeing the whales is a must)..what else? The large pool with seaview and bar... Everything was great as a matter of fact...Ah cherry on the top: an incredible elevator that brings you right to the beach!

Cons: What not to like? Maybe a very small detail: it would be nice to add a panel with details about the artist that did the paintings of the hotel. They are trully beautiful! But no information could be found about the talented artist!

Wonderful hotel with great food and nice beach.

Pros: Breakfast was very good and full of tropical fruits. The beach in front of the hotel was beautiful, enjoyable and very convenient. Staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Cons: Very loud music at night that made it difficult to sleep.

Nice finding to pass the next weekends, coming from Santo Domingo.

Pros: The views are mesmerizing. Food was good and the service of the personnel great.

Cons: Installations are a bit old but the location is so amazing that in the end doesn't matter much.

Overall, wonderful despite the humidity

Pros: The breakfast was great with a lot of options, and the coffee was very, very good. Views from the room and balcony were amazing and the staff were super nice and helpful. I needed some drops for my eyes from too much sand and they sent to the pharmacy and had it delivered at no extra charge. There was also a clinic on site which was great, as well as a spa, and midnight snacks starting around 11:15pm through 5 or 6am.

Cons: The heat and humidity - the rooms were nicely air conditioned, but the resort itself was really hot and humid, even at the bars and evening entertainment.

Beautiful all inclusive hotel with beach access, pretty grounds and good food!

Pros: Beautiful setting, friendly team members and wonderful food. Loved the golf cart that took us around the resort as I had just had an operation and couldn’t walk far. The food areas were well kept and had a good array of foods including gluten free options. Pool bar was very cool and refreshing on hot days.

Cons: No Netflix access on TV which makes entertaining children easier. The beds and pillows were not that comfy. Room service was lacking a bit - I requested dry coffee in the morning to make in my room and face towels but none were delivered.

4 fabulous nights at Bahia

Pros: Where do I start, The place is beautiful, views across the sea and town from nearky everywhere on the grounds. The pools are excellent, especially like the swim up bar (fabulous cocktails!). The food was to a high standard nesrly every meal. Dont miss the French restaurant . The main beach was great, clean, plenty of shade and loungers (even a bar and elevator to it)! Entertainment crew were fabulous but to be honest all the staff (and I mean all!) were great, helpful, cheerful, smiling, couldnt do enough for you, definitely added to the experience. Place is spotlessly clean.

Cons: A shame the pools are only open 8 hrs it would have been nice to have a night time swim with all the pool lights. The Mediterrean restaurant was a disappointment, ambiance and food barely average compared to the French restaurant which was faultless. Would have preferred a large shower rather than a small bath with shower. Aa

Pros: The personel was really nice. The whole complex looks luxurious and the food was great.

Cons: Everyone is really nice here but almost no one speaks english. So if you dont speak spanish, it can be a little problem to comunicate sometimes. At least at the reception desk people understood english.
