Cayo Levantado Resort - All Inclusive

Pros: By far the best resort we have ever been in. Wonderful rooms and facilities, exceptional food ,very nice and helpful staff. An experience to do at least once in a lifetime

A fantastic place to experience Luxury a more couples orientated environment.

Pros: The quality of the place was really great, the buildings, and all of the resort are top notch. Renovated in 2023. The location of the facilities within the resort, are all accessible easily. Spa was great, and food too. Staff were all very attentive & professional. Our Ambassador Emma was great sorting things out for us.

Cons: Small issues really but boat transfers timing is dependant on often waiting for other guests. The servers speak quietly at restaurants, and the steak restaurant lighting is too dark, the number of extra charges on the menu, although these are obviously optional seems to be contrary to the all inclusive pricing strategy. When choosing wines that were extra they were often not available…

Amazing

Pros: Beautiful hotel grounds, very good staff for the most part; special thanks to Jazquier, Thalia and the man at the beach who always served us with a smile. Excellent food for dinner. Tranquil atmosphere. Always very good informed and assisted by the ambassadors you get assigned to.

Cons: Surcharges for wellness (read: spa use like sauna and hammam were not for free!). Buffetrestaurant was not open during our stay. Food at lunch (poolrestaurant) was average at best.

Most special place in the Dominican!

Absolutely fantastic

Pros: We absolutely loved everything about the place. It’s well designed and managed, quiet, beautiful, with excellent food and very attentive and caring personnel. We booked two rooms which were very spacious and comfortable. The resort facilities provide opportunities for various activities, are well equipped and run. The gym is great. There are several large pools and they were never crowded. The beach is very beautiful. Many thanks to the staff of the hotel who made this stay so enjoyable and pleasant. Overall - a great experience.

Cons: - The buffet was closed during our stay, which meant less options to eat and every restaurant required a reservation and a precise time. - My husband is allergic to seafood. They asked about allergies and we mentioned it. However, they asked again and again every single time we went to a restaurant. It would be nice if you took note and not ask again. - We were not asked about pillow preferences before our arrival (we heard from other guests that they asked during check in, but that part of the experience was not consistent). The first night I slept terribly because the pillow was too soft for my taste. I asked another kind of pillow and they immediately provided it :) - The airco in the room turns off every xx minutes. I understand this might be more sostainble but the sound it makes when turning off/on was disrupting our sleep constantly. - Last but not least, when leaving the hotel we asked for a boat at a specific time because we had to take our transport. The time of the boat was confirmed and we were there on time. However, they made us wait 30 minutes because of another guest who didnt book a boat and wanted us to wait. The hotel favoured the guest that was late instead of favouring us who were there on time and needed to be on time to catch another transport. Extremely unfair.

Pros: The staff was amazing, big thanks to everyone, specially Betty from Carey and miguel, Adrian from the entrance lobby, everyone else from staff in all areas, you guys professionals. The island is incredible beautiful!

Simply outstanding Hospitality.

Pros: The hotel and the location are exquisite. The food can vary from excellent to ok from dish to dish but all that is minor in comparison to the quality of service. This is probably one of the best trained teams I have ever encountered. They have purpose and do everything with pleasure and a smile. It makes for a total luxury experience. The material part which is impecable is nothing in comparison with the experience of being made to feel very special by every member of the team. Congratulations that is luxury hospitality. 👏👏
