Hostal Marina Samana

Pros: This is a real gem of a hotel! It seems to be very new (or newly renovated) and is immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we don’t speak Spanish but they patiently read our google translate questions and assisted happily. The room was spacious with a huge bed and lovely balcony, hot water, and a bar fridge. The room also had an electric outdoor blind, so the room was quiet and dark when sleeping. There was free chilled filtered water in the lobby. Breakfast was delicious, and it’s located on the top floor with a beautiful view of the bay. It’s in a great location, felt like a very safe neighbourhood (and the building has good security) and walking distance from everything you need and felt very central. We would stay again!

Comfortable and good to have some rest

Pros: The room was clean, tidy and everything was in order. It even had a balcony with chairs where you could step out and chill. The bed was quite comfy and the bathroom included a hairdryer! (not every place does). Staff was friendly and helpful. They've got a guard watching guests cars parked outside during the night. - The place is located in the heart of Samaná but you can have a proper rest as you can't hear the outside noise.

Cons: Perhaps a bit pricey for what it really is, would be good to include breakfast to compensate a bit.

My sweet Samana

Pros: I had a room with a king bed and a balcony on the third floor. I loved the room. The view was cute and never got the chance to try their breakfast.. but the staff was AMAZING!!!! I will definitely not forget this place.

Cons: The Wi-Fi was only accessible at the reception, and you can't pay by card, which is annoying in 2024. Only cash or transfer. Also, the first night, they gave me a room on the main floor, cause I ask to get access for Wi-Fi, but that room was not convenient. Queen bed. At night the AC make so much light in the room, not enough sheets. So the next morning I asked for the main room I reserved and I was more than happy!!!

Pros: Terrace on the roof with great view, helpfull and very nice owners. Clean room. Perfect location

Cons: WiFi could be better

Pros: Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Delicious breakfast included. Very nice and helpful staff.

Lovely gem in Samana at a reasonable price

Pros: The hotel is new and it is very comfortable, the owner Jose is always around and he looks after the clients really well. Breakfast is good. The stuff is always kind and helpful. Totally recommend to book the hotel.

Cons: Still in process to get the card payment but once is up and running nothing wrong with the hotel. You can pay via paypal though. The rooftop could do with more ideas to give it a better use. It has a nice views of the bay and a bar will be so nice up there but as mentioned before, the hotel is new.

Memorable Marina Samana

Pros: The hotel seems new, so everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The receptionist was missing when I arrived to check in (he was eating lunch out the back) but soon came, and was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: The room was small, which was ok, but there's a very large ceiling fan above the bed, which was too powerful, even on the lowest setting.

Pros: Muy buenas instalaciones, el desayuno riquísimo. Ofrecen las excursiones a muy buen precio. Me guardaron la valija para hacer otra excursión en el día. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de todo.

Cons: Nada

Muy céntrico el lugar y bueno en todos los aspectos

Pros: El lugar muy acogedor cerca de todo en samana, el malecón y de donde toma uno el bote 🛥️ para el tour de la isla cayo levantado restaurantes y todo, el desayuno delicioso!

Cons: Ningún problema muy atentos en todo.

Excelente hospedaje en samana

Pros: La habitación me pareció muy linda, en un espacio tranquilo y la atención de Paco y su ayuda para contratar las excursiones a muy buen precio. El desayuno dominicano delicioso, todos los días lo pedimos
