Hacienda Samana Bay Hotel

Pros: Staffs were so helpful, its very clean and the view from balcony is amazing. I love staying here.

Had a nice stay for a few days

Pros: The view from the apartment. Easy parking . The apartment is well equipped. Breakfast is included it was very good choice from menu not buffet

Cons: We couldn’t find any shops to buy food walking distance of the apartment. So had to eat in hotel or restaurants nearby.

Pros: Super nice venue with great value for money. Julio from the swimming pool and Jordi from desk were very helpful and nice. Highly recommended!

Luxury at a decent price

Cons: Noisy street

Pros: Modern hotel in a great location along the Malecon in Samana (a short walk from the strip of restaurants). Our room was large, clean and very comfortable, equipped with a small kitchen area, spacious balcony and smart TV. Rooftop pool area is lovely, with an incredible view. Restaurant staff were very attentive and went out of their way for guests. The team kindly added a banner on the door for my husband's birthday. We also made good use of the free kayaks, which were a nice touch.

Cons: Not a fault of the hotel but the road outside is incredibly noisy, with loud motorbikes driving up and down all day - some extra soundproofing of balcony doors would go a long way! Not a big issue but a lot of the gym equipment was quite stiff/outdated. Reception staff didn't always seem very willing to help (compared to the others in the hotel). Lastly, could have done with more vegetarian options in the restaurant.

Wonderful! Amazing!

Pros: Wonderful stay with wonderful view, room cleaned every day, personel very nice and friendly, very tasty breakfasts. Guarded parking. Good drinks and pool on the roof.

Perfect Samana Hotel

Pros: Perfect location, the bed was amazing, the barkeepers were very nice

Cons: Unfortunately they did not have enough pool towels, Every time we went to get one new or change a dirty towel they either just washed them or were only able to provide for 3/4 of our group

Three nights in Samaná

Pros: Nice rooms with sea views and very comfortable beds. Great rooftop area with nice pools and a bar. Staff are excellent - friendly, professional and efficient. Breakfast is good, not great.

Cons: Not a five star hotel by any standard I am familiar with. Same criticism as other reviewers - I cannot get past the noise on the main road outside the hotel. Kids on motorbikes driving up and down the street. It goes on all night (Friday to Sunday at least). No soundproofing of rooms to mitigate this. Earplugs essential.

Amazing with a delicious restaurant service on the roof top

Pros: Nicely clean room , quite modern with many facilities, a nice gym amazing pool and delicious restaurant on the roof.

Pros: The restaurant of the hotel is very good; the rooftop swimming pool is also very nice with an amazing view. The staff was great!!!

Cons: The street outside is a bit loud
