A peaceful stay

Pros: Location, staff, room size with balcony and comfort.

Pros: Location was fantastic, girls in reception sorted out all my small problems with transport around the city and the breakfast was good

Always a great short stay

Pros: The location is perfect. Near to everything. The hotel is affordable. If you are a budget traveler its an ideal place to stay . It's my go to place because of my late flights into SDQ. Then the following day l move over to my luxury accommodation.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike. Its affordable and clean so its not luxurious.

Wonderful second-time stay at this hôtel

Pros: A few very important moments to mention: there is a fridge in the room (which is very practical for me personally because i dont want to eat constantly in the restaurants) and the bed mattress is neither too hard nor too soft - good sleep. It was calm, didnt have any issues. The room size was perfectly fine for a solo traveller. Personnel is very welcoming, gave me tips on some spots worth visiting. There is a TV, conditioner and ceiling ventilator- all worked. My room had windows and one could open them:) Very good placement in zona colonial close to everything. There are colmados, shops around the corner, and a person selling café on the street (around the corner to the right of the hôtel). Breakfast was included but i didnt have time to see it.

Wonderful stay at this property

Pros: The location of the property is very accessible to everything in Zona Colonial . It is great for a short stay or for a low budget traveler. I used it for one night because my flight arrived late night and it was more economical to stay there then go to my regular hotel later in the day. The free breakfast was also very good quality. I would recommend it highly for persons who have limited funds to spend. The room is basic but clean and bright and comfortable.

Pros: The only hotel in Dominican Republic where you don’t hear music playing loud at day or night. I had to take some meetings from work and I had been in few other hotels in Santo Domingo and none of them were silent. The rooms were super clean and breakfast was good too. Almost a luxurious hotel for a very good price. The location is great, it’s in the main walking street with many restaurants around.

Great spot for exploring historic Santo Domingo

Pros: This place suited our needs very well. We were staying for 2 days and nights in Santo Domingo before heading to the beaches. We wanted something in the historic Colonial Zone and this location was perfect and the cost was reasonable. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathrooms are a bit basic, but serviceable. The fellow at the desk at check in was lovely and helpful. It felt very safe and was a great place for us to stay. Breakfast was included, and was fine.

Cons: Bathrooms were a bit basic. There was no parking. We parked in a pay lot a few streets away, and it all turned out fine, but for a Canadian, handing over money, your car and the car keys without even a receipt feels very nerve-wracking. Something the hotel could consider is having a deal with a nearby known and nearby parking lot and facilitate the parking transactions for the guests.
