Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. This boutique hotel has an outdoor pool and a separate jacuzzi in a pretty roof garden. There's free WiFi in all areas and 24 hour front-desk. Beautiful hotel in Zona Colonial

Pros: Great place in Zona Colonial! ! We stayed in the “Sisters Mirabal room”, what a spacious and beautiful room! The whole hotel is beautiful and in colonial style. Staff was helpful and very friendly, breakfast tasted fantastic, too!

Cons: The jacuzzi did not work (no bubble function), but we could still bathe in it!

A very comfortable stay in a genuine colonial converted house.

Pros: Great location near the vibrant Area but well sound isolated for a good rest. Good looking charming converted colonial house, nice breakfast. Clean. Good air con and fridge. Great staff.

Cons: Bathroom accessorises could do with some updating for more comfort…. Some shelving to place your own items, hooks for towels. Not working safe box ( or they could’ve find the key)

Pros: Located close to the centre. Everything is in walking distance. Huge room, with separation between the kitchen and the master room. Felt very homely and comfortable, good facilities. Kenya, the receptionist was really nice, kind and hospitable.

Cons: Breakfast is small, could be better. A member of the breakfast staff was not attentive and caused us to miss it on one occasion!

Pros: Amazing place! If you survived a traffic madness of the city and didn't crash your car - this place is a paradise! Evening with a beer at the pool - fantastic! Hot jacuzzi on the roof top - brilliant! Thank you for this beautiful place.

Comfortable and good value.

Pros: Place with plenty of character with great swim jet/endless pool and access to neighbouring gym. We stayed in Hermanas suite / King suite on booking.com. Which was good value plenty of space and windows overlooking the pool. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons: Could be more generous with fruit at breakfast. Self service would be better at least for fruit and cereal.
