Majestic Colonial Punta Cana - All Inclusive

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the Caribbean, in luxury

Pros: Excellent location and beach… fantastic pools and restaurants…friendly staff .. fantastic food

Cons: Rooms , towels, some of the other equipment a bit outdated

Cons: One room the water didn't work The AC was making a noise but they fixed it Could have been more sugar free options If you want to reserve a restaurant, make sure you do it before 5pm

Pros: Beach is absolutely amazing...food and facilities are very good and the staff is nice and friendly. We enjoyed the stay,it exceeded our expectations!

Amazing place at a reasonable price for what you get!

Pros: - Great food options - Beach was amazing - Butler service in the adults only section was over and beyond - Very clean around the resort - Very friendly and service minded staff - Great facilities, such as the casino, souvenir shops, pool table, etc.

Cons: - A little bit cold in the facilities where you eat - Doors are paper thin, woke up almost every night when the Americans went back to their rooms screaming (singing?) in the hallway - Would be more pleasant if there were a toilet brush in the bathroom

Pros: The room, recreation and dinner options, everything was great. The staff was absolutely wonderful.

Cons: Unfortunately we could not enjoy the beach as it was full of gulfweed, in spite of the staff best efforts to clean it up.

Great beach frin hotel

Pros: Very nice location on beach front, great facilities and services. Rooms are outdated and no soundproof, you can hear all the noisy guests and cleaning carts. Cleaning was not done properly, there was sand and hair on the floor, towels are very used and some were dirty full of makeup. Our room was next to their internal road and cars were speeding since 6:00 am till midnight. Food was excelent, lots of choices and staff is very friendly.

Exceeded expectations!!

Pros: I have not one complaint. I was very impressed at how friendly the staff were. Very accommodating and by far the most outgoing and helpful that we have ever encountered in all our trips to the Caribbean. Believe me we have been ALL over the Caribbean Islands and at many All-in resorts. The staff here was by far the best. The beach was great, plenty of chairs even for us late risers. Nice pool, the grounds were immaculate. Well lit up at night that provided a very nice ambiance. We found the food at the a la carte's as well as the Buffet very good. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on returning.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and good amenities

Pros: The hotel has a great feel. The staff is always happy and willing to help. The facilities are clean. The buffet restaurants are great with lots of variety and plenty on new things to try daily. The evening entertainment is very good, above average for most resorts. The Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant was fab.

Cons: We went unknowingly in spring break which meant that being around the pools swim up bar was a nightmare. It was absolutely hectic around the pool area, however, being on the beach got rid of this problem somewhat and you could relax. The a la carte restaurants weren't great. The meat restaurant kept over cooking the meat and the French wasn't gourmet as expected. Ingredients described on the menu where missing. The food tasted ok but wasn't to the standard i thought it would be considering the buffet was great.

Excellent stay at Majestic Colonial

Pros: The staff here were the friendliest I've ever met in all my experiences at All-Inclusive. They worked hard and had a pleasant atmosphere about them .The grounds were kept immaculate and nicely lit for night walks. I found the bar and food location staff very friendly, and the beach was very clean and inviting. My favorite feature here is that the sports bar is open until 7 am!! This helps accommodate all those that fly in from different countries all around the world with different time zones. Well done.

Cons: Not that it is the resorts fault, however some members of our party had their flights cancelled or rescheduled due to the Snow storms as well as a Plane crash in Toronto. I felt it hard to believe that the resort was full capacity and they had no spare rooms. My cousin had to wait in the Lobby with her senior in laws for information on what the hotel intended to do with them. They were forced to leave and go to another hotel. There was 50 vacationers for a destination wedding at this resort and not one of us believed that there was no more vacancy available on those dates. We assumed the planes flying people in to the resort did not arrive, as such there must of been some rooms available.

Fabulous - although only 95% of fabulous.

Pros: Hotel team, location, facilities, and selection of eateries were all [as we heard all day every day] excelente! Room is extremely comfortable and large.

Cons: A little bit erratic in the service received in a couple of then restaurants. In one, each member of our group of 6 all had something missing from dinner order. In another - starters arrive after the mains. Sometimes we had bath robes and some days we did not! Nothing major - just expect a little more consistency from the amount paid would have not gone unwelcome. But lovely all the same
