Fun stay, but the room wasn’t cleaned when requested

Pros: I really enjoyed the RIU party, it was extremely fun and enjoyable. The bartender Ramon was wonderful; although I was the only one drinking, he always checked in on my family whenever he saw them to make sure we were okay and that I was enjoying my drinks. There were several nightly shows we enjoyed together, and while the food was okay, there was a wide variety to choose from, so if I didn’t like something, I could always try another option.

Cons: Housekeeping was inconsistent. They came too early on two occasions while I was in the room because no ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign was initially provided. After requesting a sign and changing it to ‘Please Clean My Room’ while I was away all day, the room was still not serviced, even though other rooms were being cleaned. Housekeeping eventually stopped coming entirely, so I had to request fresh towels in person and place used dishes outside for collection. I ended up tidying the room myself.

A good Hotel with a Wonderful Beach

Pros: The hotel is well looked after and has a large territory. Our room was in great condition, and the beach is very beautiful and cleaned every day. The gym is nicely equipped. If you are travelling with children, keep in mind that the distance from some rooms to the beach can be quite long. In our case, it was over 700 meters. For us, the walk was enjoyable, but for families with young children, this distance may feel a bit challenging. If you have a late check-out, the hotel will offer you a room with a shared shower and towels.

Cons: We were not fully satisfied with the food at the hotel. Dinner was the best meal of the day, but breakfast and lunch were quite repetitive, and it was not always easy to find something truly tasty. Because the floor in our room was not swept or washed during our stay, we could constantly feel sand on it. We requested slippers for the room, but our request was denied, as they are provided only for the “Elite Club” category. This was surprising,so in my view, providing basic slippers to guests who need them should be possible even in a standard 4-star hotel.

Nice exotic place place great for familes

Pros: It was in a very nice location, good selection of food, and the pool areas were beautiful

Cons: It’s my fault really, but it was full of couples and families, kids. Good for families but not for a solo traveller

It’s a big resort, good for relaxing

Pros: Lots of facilities, gym was good, plenty going on. Spa is good but a little pricy for additional services like massage. There’s a scuba place on site that will organise trips for you. Access to the beach is easy and amongst palm trees which many of the other resorts don’t have like that. The bar staff are pretty friendly and good for a chat. A little Spanish goes a long way.

Cons: The restaurants are often overbooked. I tried to get to one restaurant 3 times and got told too bad. The staff at the restaurants also get upset if you come later when there isn’t a long line. The buffet is usually fine but the food sits out all days in a warm rooms and was the only time I felt sick after eating there.

Excellent

Pros: The resort setup, decor, amenities and variety of areas for patrons to eat and be entertained such as restaurants, casual pop in places and pool options including water parks was excellent. The rooms were in very good condition and lot of thought put into layout and comfort. There is attention to detail in all aspects and staff made sure everyone had a great time. Place was very clean and the recent renovations are good for everyone including families.

Cons: First thing in the morning you can hear the other room doors squeaking open and shut hard as rooms were offered bottles of water or patrons left rooms. These sounds woke us up and I first thought there was some kind of construction but it was not. This can be fixed by applying some fix to the doors to limit the noise. The bathroom items were not all replaced consistently such as floor mat, soap and Kleenex tissues during cleaning. We had to request this. Seaweed on the beach was a problem and we did not spend time there as we planned. Some of it was cleared on the third day we were there but still overall an issue. Could add entertainment for families with kids such as movies under the stars etc. in both Spanish and English. The large entertainment area was unused during the day and could be used for daytime activities for breaks for kids from the pool and beach.

A relaxing and enjoyable stay with one of the best beaches I’ve been to!

Pros: Loved the room setup, 3 beds for our family was perfect, really appreciated it. The beach access was stunning and nice mix of pools for liveliness and relaxation.

Cons: The dining aspect was a little chaotic, every night trying to find a table to sit at and get good service from the culinary staff was rocky, but we made it work.

Was AMAZING but the luggage guys are a disaster

Pros: The food and the staff . But Everything was amazing the View the Beach .

Cons: They don't have an elevator 🛗 by every building. The people in the luggage 🧳 they are not serious with the jobs sometimes. Only they always waiting for money. There is no obligation to give any money plus; I was waiting in my room for 40 minutes and no one came to help me with my luggage 🧳, and I was alone with my baby 👶🏻 6 months old and no one came. So the clean lady asked me for help and I said yes thank you she was the best.

Excellent l did enjoy every day. Good food, happy people around

Pros: Beautiful beach very close by walk..everything what l needed was there.

Cons: Smell from drain just at the beginning then l got used to

Pros: Everything was excellent but we had to go to a funeral on the Friday and were unable to make full use of the facilities.
