Pros: Great to sit outdoors at the Plaza de Colon for the included breakfast. The food was good.

Cons: Noisy neighbours - women chattering away at 3;00 in the morning

Pros: I stayed at the Cataleya Hotel for a whole week and really enjoyed it. My room didn't have a window, but I'm fine with that. You should also be aware that there are rooms without windows. You'd have to ask beforehand. But it's not a negative point if you know what to expect. The central location is really great. Santo Domingo is great for exploring on foot. The Wi-Fi worked reliably for me the entire week. Of course, the air conditioning is a bit loud. It has to be; it's supposed to cool the room. That just doesn't work without it working. The supermarket is about a 10-minute walk away, as are plenty of restaurants. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so you'll have to carry your suitcases up yourself.

Pros: De location is perfect. Breakfast is good but not in the hotel. The breakfast is at the restaurant at the parque at the statue of columbus. Very nice place

Cons: The time to get hot water. But i feel its a problem with more places there.

Beautiful renovated colonial building

Pros: Excellent staff and welcome. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Great location in the heart of Zona Colonial for local attractions, restaurants and bars. Appreciated staff responsiveness and efforts to address concerns.

Cons: Need to pay more attention to bathroom fittings and kitchenette utensils and maintenance.
