Pros: The location is unbeatable. Really nice building and the breakfast was good as well.

Cons: As most of the buildings in the Colonial Zone, there is some humidity smell but it is expected.

great hotel with an awesome cocktail bar with the best staff, cocktails and food!

Pros: Great staff, best cocktail bar in the city on premises with the best hospitality we enjoyed during our whole trip in the DR.

Cons: Need to fix the shower pressure, was not possible to take a shower properly on the 3rd floor.

Cons: Water pressure was VERY poor in the shower. Could barely have a proper shower there. Breakfast could be a bit more varied but coffee was really good. Other than that all good.

Excellent value, modest but clean and welcoming hotel with friendly, helpful staff.

Pros: The coffee was really good considering the large amount and time it was stored. Coffee in DR is exceptional anyway. Fruit juices were also above average quality. Bar had a great ambience. Staff cheerful and helpful. I liked that they checked every day whether I wanted the room cleaning. I hate unnecessary cleaning. I would definitely use the hotel again.

Cons: Water pressure was weak on top floor and it took a while for the hot water to come through. Lack of an opening window (with insect screen) meant I had to use the ceiling fan more than I'd have liked. Only one member of staff was unsmiling. The rest were always cheerful.
