A perfect hotel in Santo Domingo

Pros: This time, I just spent one night in the hotel, which was almost perfect for me.

Cons: There is no lift, so you have to go up and down a staircase with dark steps; a clear band on the border of the steps would improve safety.

An excellent choice if in Santo Domingo

Pros: The location is excellent, just in front of the cathedral. Both the common areas and the room were clean. The room has comfortable furniture and the bathroom is well designed; both are well lit. There is a restaurant under the hotel with excellent food for any meal. The hotel staff are outstanding, especially the gentelman who works at the reception in the morning.

Cons: The hotel has no lift, so it is necessary to go up and down by means of dark paved stairs, which may be dangerous - in my opinion, a light band on the border of each step would improve this issue. The safe in the room is very hard to open, a safe working with secret numbers would be more friendly for guests.

the location of the hotel is right in the action of the colonial zone.

Pros: Perfect location, we arrived late, tired and jet lagged, having the restaurant/bar downstairs was very convenient

Great property and location, terrible staff

Pros: The property and its location are excellent, right in the center of the colonial zone. We spent our evenings people watching and listening to busters play music. Our room was comfortable and clean. The attached restaurant has outdoor seating and is adorable but the food is mediocre. I would stay there again just for the location.

Cons: The staff were at best dismissive, at worst rude. They were all disappointing.

I will come back.

Wonderful place

Pros: It’s a wonderful location in the historic district, with a long walking street for shopping and restaurants. And the people that work in the hotel and restaurant, are wonderful people.

Cons: The size of my room was way too small

Will definite stay here again....

Pros: The room was very central for us....we loved having our balcony overlooking the square...great for watching all the going ons!

Cons: The leaf blowers at 7:00 am so if you like to sleep in....not happening
