Ocean el Faro Resort - All Inclusive

Fantastic

Pros: Our stay at Ocean El Faro was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The resort is stunning: beautiful architecture, spotless rooms, well-maintained pools, and a very relaxing overall atmosphere. Everything is designed to make you feel on vacation the moment you arrive. The food exceeded our expectations with a great variety, fresh ingredients, and very good à la carte restaurants. The resort offers plenty of options to enjoy every day without ever getting bored. What truly made the difference was the service, especially our concierge, Carlos Enrique. He was outstanding: professional, friendly, attentive, always smiling, and genuinely caring about guests. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made our stay even more memorable. Having a concierge like him truly elevates the experience. We highly recommend Ocean El Faro and would definitely come back without hesitation

Cons: The only small downside was the beach, which was not as exceptional as the rest of the resort. However, this was largely compensated by the amazing pools, the overall setting, and the quality of the facilities, so it did not affect our overall experience.

Pros: Lots of non-alcoholic drink options; lots of food options including Halal dinner arrangement at all of their restaurants upon request; private beach with no vendors selling cigars/drugs and it was safe even at night; beach was very windy in December with a lot of waves. If you've older kids, they'll love it, not so good for young kids but they can stay at the pools or lazy river. Lazy river was a great option actually. Entrance is great. Lobby looks amazing with a nice scent and very clean. Walk from lobby to the rooms and beach looks awesome both during day/night time. Pros: We had an amazing experience thanks to our personal butler Kevin Paulino. He took care of every request we had – from reservations to small details in our room. Whenever something was missing or needed attention, he handled it immediately and always with a smile. His professionalism, efficiency, and warm attitude truly elevated our stay. We felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend his service to anyone staying at the hotel.

Pros: This was truly the best vacation of our lives! Concierge Jose took care of us at every step and made our stay even better. We really enjoyed the food; there was something for everyone. The number and quality of the à la carte restaurants deserve a special mention. The hotel offers a huge number of attractions, so it is impossible to get bored. We had a wonderful time. A huge thank you to Mr. Jose for his dedication!

Pros: We loved our stay! The rooms were big, modern and very pretty. We also really appreciated the service, especially our butler Kevin, who was incredibly kind, attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant staff was also very friendly, and we liked having many dining options for dinner. We loved the swimming pools, and the lazy river.

Cons: Our room was located in front of the noisy swimming pool, so it could get loud during the day. We also wished there were more variety of activities available.

Decent experience of all inclusive

Pros: We had good sleep, good evening shows, good cacao and cheesecakes at Mike’s coffee shop. Good hot shower and bath, sunny days, family bowling and great party for Halloween.

Cons: Restaurants were not extraordinary, expected more. But buffet was efficient.

Pros: Friendly staff from waiters to bell boy, bartenders, guest services, privelege , speak good English, great food selection.. privilege restaurant food and service was great.

Cons: Pools not so clean. Never seen anyone clean pools. Service at steak house and blue moon very slow. Items on menu sold out if you have late night reservation. Exhaust fan and ac not working in Japanese restaurant. I would like more wine selection by glass, not just one red, rose, white. (8 ounces for $10 is ok). Price too high for one bottle of wine from menu and i cant drink one bottle of wine at once ( solo traveller).

Wonderful stay!

Pros: Beautiful resort and lovely room and pools. On a beautiful beach. Very clean. Excellent food. Staff were wonderful. Great entertainment staff.

Cons: Resort is remote (which is also a big plus as it was quiet, safe and spacious). It had a lot of entertainment activities, but I thought there could have been more sport activities available or for extended hours (eg beach volleyball).

Pros: The property was well maintained. The rooms were large and as the pictures. There was a good choice of food selection.

Incredible resort with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful beach.

Pros: Our room was fantastic and well worth upgrading to the Privilege service. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the complimentary showers after we had checked out and been at the beach all day. The resort is huge with a wide range of activities and the beach is beautiful.

Cons: The food could have been better and clearer instructions of how to get the most out of your stay would have been useful. For example, we didn't know how the beach towel system worked, nor were we able to make dinner reservations at the restaurant or online. Finding the right people to reserve an archery lesson wasn't the easiest and the pool in the spa is very cold, so more refreshing rather than relaxing!
